The sun and tree pair so perfectly together, and the board book pages are sturdy enough for my one-year-old to turn herself. The minimal art and calm repetition make it a soothing bedtime read, and the tiny size is ideal for her chubby hands.
The board book’s pacing is perfect for a one-year-old’s attention span, and the simple sun-and-tree story has a quiet charm that holds up on the tenth read. Sturdy pages have survived some serious chewing, which is the real test in our house.
My toddler asks for this one by name every night, and the way it gently walks from the sun to the tree feels so calm and simple for bedtime. The board pages are sturdy enough for her tiny grabbing hands, and the short lines make it perfect for a quick read before lights out.
