My favorite part is the way it balances big ideas about hospitality with quiet corners for solitude—it actually made me rethink how I use my own living room. The essays are thoughtful without being preachy, and the photography makes you want to linger on every page.
I bought this for my coffee table but it’s ended up in my reading nook instead—the photography makes you want to linger on every page. The way it balances cozy family chaos with quiet corners feels exactly like what a home should be.
