The matte charcoal glaze is exactly as pictured—deep and velvety, not shiny at all. I’ve used it every night for a week and it still feels sturdy yet refined, and the organic rim makes each plate look slightly one-of-a-kind.

The organic rim gives it a hand-thrown feel that machine-made plates just don't have, and the matte charcoal finish looks even better in person than on screen. It's got a nice weight to it, not too heavy but solid. These have become my everyday plates.
