My two-year-old asks for this one every single night and I don't mind reading it again. The way the sun and palm tree are introduced feels so simple and almost poetic, perfect for the littlest listeners.
The board book pages are sturdy enough for my one-year-old to grab and turn herself, and the simple "this is your sun" pacing makes for a calming bedtime read. We've already read it three times tonight and she smiles at the palm tree every single page.
My toddler insists on reading this one every night before bed, and the simple story about the sun and palm tree is just right for her short attention span. The board book size is perfect for her little hands to hold on her own.
