Didn't expect it to feel this solid for something so small. The olive wood is dense and non porous so it wipes clean in seconds, and my soft boiled egg sits in it without wobbling. Only thing is I want a second one now.

The grain on mine is completely different from the photo, which I actually like since it means no two are alike. It's dense and non porous, so it doesn't soak up anything and wipes clean in seconds. My morning boiled egg finally has a proper little throne.

The wood feels dense and smooth, and the non-porous surface means a soft-boiled egg doesn’t stick to it at all. I grabbed one for each breakfast seat just to admire the unique patterns; this one’s the prettiest of the bunch.
