I was a little worried the rim would feel too thick, but it's surprisingly fluid and comfortable to hold while serving. The deep matte glaze makes the pasta sauce pop, and knowing it's handcrafted makes every bowl feel a bit special.
The matte charcoal finish is even deeper in person, and the fluid rim catches the light beautifully at dinner. I've used it every night since it arrived, and the weight feels substantial without being heavy to lift from the table.
