The nutmeg stripes are a warmer tone than they looked online, which actually works better against my grey sofa. Velvet has a nice weight to it and the cotton back doesn't slip around like my old covers did.
The nutmeg and velvet stripes look even richer in person, and the feather insert gives it that perfect squishy-but-supportive feel. It’s become my go-to accent on the reading chair, and I keep catching myself running my hand over the cotton velvet.
The feather insert makes it feel properly plush rather than flat like the polyester ones I've had before. Stripes are a bit more subtle in person than in the photos, but they still work well on my grey sofa.
