Our Black Otto Jute Rug Collection creates a warm and earthy feel in any room it rolls into. Otto's chunky, organic Soumak weave binds together inky black tonal depth that grounds any space. Fringed edging and a white striped corner motif finish this artisan rug with the signature Saardé style.
The Soumak weave is chunkier than I expected, which gives it serious texture underfoot and makes the black tones feel almost velvety instead of flat. It’s grounding the living room perfectly, and the earthy vibe it adds is exactly what the space needed.
The fringed edges are what sold me—they give the room that laid-back, coastal feel without trying too hard. The inky black tones really do ground the space, and the jute texture feels substantial underfoot. Exactly the warm, earthy vibe I was hoping for.
The chunky Soumak weave is exactly what I wanted for our living room—it adds that earthy texture without feeling too casual. The black tones are deep and rich, grounding the whole space beautifully.
