Artist Bio:

Verity Kizek is an artist living and working in Sydney, Australia. Her work is characterised by natural tones of olive and terracotta, as well as graphic blacks and charcoals.

The subject matter of her work largely concentrates on botanical forms, often featuring branch and leaf shapes - a reflection of her upbringing and heritage, surrounded by nature and the work of her great grandfather Sir Hans Heysen OBE.

Born in Melbourne, Australia, Kizek has lived throughout Europe and, most formatively, in Turkey for a number of years – providing a source of inspiration and sparking a love for the warmth of the Mediterranean. Throughout her work she uses precise graphic shapes that celebrate the beauty of the natural and the imperfect.

The current collection includes original artworks, and signed and numbered limited edition prints.

Sofia T. ★★★★★

The oak frame adds a warmth that really makes the gouache blues pop, and the cotton canvas texture gives it a handcrafted feel you can't get from a print. It's been up in my living room for a week now and I keep catching myself staring at the flow of those swirls.

Joseph ★★★★★

The marbled swirls in this piece are even more striking in person—the gouache has this soft, layered depth that photos don't quite capture. It arrived well-protected and the oak frame suits my living room perfectly.

Ryan ★★★★★

The flowing marbled pattern is even more striking in person than on my screen, and the gouache on cotton canvas gives it a lovely, textured depth. I’ve had it hanging in my hallway for a week now and find myself stopping to look at it every time I walk by.
