I've been using this as a reading pillow on my couch and the featherdown insert keeps it from going flat like my old polyester one did. The dark olive color has a nice vintage wash to it that hides everyday dirt pretty well.
The velvet side is genuinely plush and the linen backing keeps it from feeling too hot, which I didn't expect. The featherdown insert holds its shape even after weeks of daily use on my reading chair.
I've been curling up with this on the couch every evening since it arrived, and the featherdown insert makes it sink in just right without going flat. The reversible linen side is a nice touch when I want something less shiny than the velvet.
