이 수제 유리 제품은 1940년부터 모로코에서 제조되었습니다. 2013년 6월, 모로코의 마지막 유리 공장인 Sover가 문을 닫으면서 고객과 직원들은 낙담에 빠졌습니다. Beldi 가족이 이를 구하기 위해 나서서 Beldi Country Club 내에 Sover 장인들의 옛 팀으로 현대적인 공장을 세워 생산을 재개했습니다.
수제 제품이므로 장인이 만든 작품의 작은 자국과 특성을 발견할 수 있습니다. 여기에는 작은 기포, 변색, 유리의 불균일함 등의 차이가 포함될 수 있습니다. 앰버 유리 제품은 색조의 깊이가 다를 수 있습니다. 불완전함은 예상되는 것이며, 그것이 우리가 이 제품을 사랑하는 이유입니다!
Poured a full liter of water in and it didn't drip once when tipping — the spout is cut really clean. The handmade glass has tiny bubbles in it that catch the light, which is exactly why I wanted something mouth-blown instead of machine-made.
The glass is heavier in the hand than I expected, and the slight bubbles in the rim make it feel like something my grandmother would've owned. It pours clean without dripping, which is more than I can say for my old pitcher.
The handmade glass has a lovely, uneven texture that feels authentic to its Moroccan roots, and it holds exactly the right amount for a full pitcher of water on my counter. Knowing this craft tradition ended in 2013 makes it feel like a special piece to pour from every day.
