The scalloped base makes these feel way more special than my plain flutes, and they stand steady even after a couple of toasts. The dark amber tint catches candlelight beautifully at dinner.
The dark amber glass looks way richer in person than in the photos, especially with a candle behind it. The top flute part sits so lightly on that scalloped base, and they survived a full dinner party without a wobble.
The scalloped base on these is such a nice touch, they feel fancy without being fussy. We used them for a birthday toast and the dark amber looked gorgeous against the tablecloth.
