I hung this in my living room and the clay texture against the black really pops under natural light. The gouache strokes have a depth that photos don’t do justice to, and the 63cm size fits perfectly above my console. It’s the kind of piece that makes you stop and look every time you pass by.
The oak frame is beautifully crafted and really sets off the dark clay tones. It’s the perfect size for my living room wall, and the linen texture gives it a gallery-quality feel that photos don’t do justice.
The texture of the gouache against the rougher linen really pops in person—there's a depth to the clay tones you just don't get from a screen. The oak frame's got a nice weight to it, and at 63cm square it's a solid statement piece without overpowering my living room wall.
