I flip it to the linen side during the day and the velvet side at night, and the terracotta shade looks exactly like the photo in my warm lamp light. The featherdown insert keeps its shape instead of flattening out, which I was a bit worried about.
The velvet side is so plush my cat has claimed it as her own already. I flipped it to the linen backing for summer and it still looks good on the couch. Featherdown keeps it fat and squishy, not flat like my old insert.
