“Estambul es mi hogar, el lugar donde crecí. Cada fin de semana íbamos a los mercados callejeros a comprar productos frescos; en turco los llaman Pazar. Ir a un Pazar es una experiencia muy especial. Los aromas no solo te siguen, te asaltan los sentidos. Kilos de limones maduros, tomates y naranjas, recién cortados por la mitad, mezclados con especias, cuya fragancia se funde con el aire caliente del verano. Esta experiencia sensorial intensa y hermosa deja una huella imborrable en tu memoria, vívida e inseparable del tapiz lleno de alma de Estambul.”

Dedicado a su oficio, Shenol Kizek, cofundador de Saardé, ha viajado a la meca mundial de los aromas: la ciudad de Grasse, en la Costa Azul francesa. Guiado por los maestros del oficio del Instituto de Perfumería local, ha creado sus dos primeras fragancias: Estambul y Saint-Raphaël.
